The Goethe-Institut Saudi Arabia (liason office) offers the German courses and the official Goethe-Institut exams at all levels since 2014. The German language center in Riyadh started with about 50 students, this number has now increased more than tenfold.

Learning the German language is a prerequisite for an attractive employment in one of many German companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as for studying at one of the renowned German universities. Long before the worldwide pandemic online courses were introduced at the Goethe-Institut in Saudi Arabia. New in the GI portfolio are online courses for medical and dental professionals and for students that prepare for the medical exam in Germany.
